Richard T. Chung, MD
After attending undergraduate school at Stanford University, Dr. Chung went on to attend medical school at the University of California,
Los Angeles. Upon graduation from medical school in 1990, he returned to Stanford, his Alma Mater, for a residency in the field of
Radiation Oncology which he completed in 1994. Fascinated by Alaska, Dr. Chung relocated to Anchorage in August of 1994 to practice his
passion –oncology- at the Anchorage Radiation Therapy Center. Since joining the Anchorage Radiation Therapy Center, Richard Chung, MD
has been a champion of bringing new radiation therapy technologies to the community affording patients and their families the opportunity
to pursue cancer treatment in their hometown. In 2006, Richard Chung, MD and the Anchorage Radiation Therapy Center opened a satellite
facility to better serve the growing Mat-Su community.

Hobbies/Interests
Enjoys family life with his wife and two young children, listening to modern jazz, reflecting upon the days as the bass guitarist in Top Secret, playing video games, eating at Chinese buffets and all other buffets.
